Introduction

jar’s extensive userbase and collection of content can be used to automatically post them to your server channels. This guide will show you how to set up autoposters for various content types.

Setting up an autoposter

To set up an autoposter, you’ll need to pick which content type you want to post and the channel you want to post it to.

There are currently 2 ways of setting them, the traditional prefix command way and the slash command way.

Using slash commands is the recommended way as it is easier to use and more user friendly.

Type in this command to bring up the options and the channel you want to post to.

/autopost add

If you’ve set your autoposter up correctly, you should see a confirmation message like this one.

If there is already an autoposter set up for the content type you’ve chosen, you’ll see a message like this one.

To remove an autoposter, type in this command to bring up the options and the channel you want to remove it from.

/autopost remove

If you’ve removed your autoposter correctly, you should see a confirmation message like this one.

If there is no autoposter set up for the content type you’ve chosen, you’ll see a message like this one.

To check the channels that have autoposters set up, type in this command.

/autopost config

Regardless of the channels you’ve set it will show the configuration for every autoposter.
